What Quect does today and what comes next.
Every feature shows whether it is live, in testing or coming soon, with the date of its last review. We only call something “Live” when it already works in production.

Publish your code
6 features
Import from GitHub, GitLab, Gitea, Forgejo and Bitbucket
Connect your account and pick a repository. Codeberg runs Forgejo, so it works too. Quect pins the commit you published.
Upload your project as a ZIP
No Git? Drop in a ZIP and the site goes live. The limit is 10 MB compressed.
Git by link, over HTTPS or SSH
Paste the repository link. For SSH, Quect generates a deploy key and you add it to your Git host.
Publish on every push
Push your code and the site updates by itself. Works with GitLab, Gitea, Forgejo and Bitbucket. Not on GitHub yet.
Project analysis with a suggested setup
Quect reads your project and suggests the setup. You just review it. Nothing runs during the analysis.
Publish in one click
Reviewed the setup? One click and the site is live with HTTPS.
Languages and builds
8 features
Static sites in HTML and CSS
An HTML and CSS site goes up in under half a minute.
Node.js, Python, PHP and Go
Websites, APIs, bots and workers in these four languages, without setting up a server.
Projects with a Dockerfile
Quect builds and publishes it as your Dockerfile describes. Any language you can package in it will run.
Docker Compose, with one public web service
Several services in one project talk to each other by name. Only one of them is reachable from the internet.
Automatic builds with Railpack
Quect reads the project and picks how to build it. You don't have to write anything.
Choose Nixpacks for the build
It works in our tests. It isn't released to the beta yet.
Java, .NET, Rust and Ruby without a Dockerfile
Today these languages only run with a Dockerfile. Automatic builds for them come later.
Heroku and Paketo buildpacks
They come later. Quect doesn't offer these build options today.
Domain and HTTPS
4 features
An HTTPS address as soon as you publish
Your project starts with a secure Quect address, with no certificate setup.
Your own domain with SSL
Use the domain you already own. Quect shows the two DNS records, checks them for you and turns on HTTPS.
Redirects, headers and a password
They apply to the whole site or just one path. Available on new projects.
Domain registration and email
Registering a domain and creating email from the dashboard come later.
Data and databases
4 features
PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB and Valkey (Redis)
Pick a database in the Data tab. Only your project can reach it, over the private network.
Daily database backups, with restore
Quect keeps an encrypted copy in Canada, away from the data in France. To restore, pick a backup and type the database name.
A disk that keeps your app's files
It works in our tests. It isn't released to the beta yet.
File upload over SFTP
Uploading files over SFTP comes later.
Operations and logs
11 features
Build and runtime logs
See what your app is saying without opening a terminal. The view refreshes every 5 seconds.
CPU and RAM usage and health checks
See CPU, memory, HTTP requests and whether the app is healthy. Request counts cover the current run, not unique visitors.
Scheduled jobs
Run a command from your app on a schedule, with history and logs. Available on new projects.
Email or webhook alerts
Get a notice when a deploy or a scheduled task fails. The webhook is signed.
Roll back to the previous version without downtime
The new version gets traffic only after it answers. If something goes wrong, go back to the previous one. Available on new projects.
Email when the site goes live
You get an email when a deploy is ready, when it fails and when your domain becomes active.
Your project runs in Gravelines, France
It's the only active region today. The others are planned.
Real-time logs, line by line
The log scrolls in real time instead of refreshing every 5 seconds. Still in testing.
Replicas and load balancing
Your app running as more than one copy, with traffic split between them.
Automatic extra resources during traffic spikes
During a spike in visits, Quect lends more resources for a day.
A São Paulo region
São Paulo and other regions are planned. You can't pick them yet.
Security
5 features
Encrypted variables and secrets
Your keys are stored encrypted and hidden in the logs.
Each project in its own sandbox
With RAM and CPU limits for each one.
Builds on a separate machine
Your code is built away from the rest of the platform, with no access to it.
Build-only secrets
The keys a build needs stay out of the running app. Works with Dockerfile and Railpack.
Warning about dependencies with known flaws
It's an informational notice. It doesn't guarantee the app is secure.
Ready-made apps
5 features
WordPress in one click
Quect installs WordPress with the database already created and backed up every day.
Umami and Uptime Kuma
Visit analytics and uptime monitoring, ready to use.
Miniflux, Memos and Actual Budget
An RSS reader, notes and budgeting.
Listmonk and Vaultwarden
Newsletter sending and a password vault.
Ghost and Metabase in one click
They need more memory than the beta plan offers. Still in testing.
AI
2 features
Quect Deploy: your AI publishes from the terminal
Create a token in the dashboard and paste one command in your terminal. Then ask Claude Code, Codex or Cursor to deploy.
Quect Companion, the optional AI helper
It explains your setup and your errors. Don't want it? Configure on your own. It has its own daily limit.
